Current Crisis Overview

With rising threats from Hezbollah, our dedicated ZAKA volunteers are urgently gathering and preparing essential equipment for deployment to northern regions. In recent days, Northern Israel has been engulfed in devastating wildfires, ignited by rockets and explosive drones launched from Lebanon by Hezbollah.

These attacks have caused severe damage and heightened danger across the region:

• Over 2,500 acres of land have been scorched.
• More than 10 villages, including the northern city of Kiryat Shmona, have been severely impacted.
• Eleven people have been hospitalized due to smoke inhalation.
• The fires have led to significant ecological damage, with recovery expected to take years.

Escalating Threats

Since October 8, 2023, cross-border shelling between Hezbollah and Israeli forces has resulted in countless casualties. The intensity of these conflicts has forced the evacuation of approximately 100,000 residents from Northern Israel!
