The window to prepare is right now. With your support as true partners in loving-kindness, we ensure that ZAKA volunteers are mobilized, protected, and fully equipped to respond to a national emergency.

ZAKA serves as an indispensable pillar of Israel’s response to national emergencies. Within minutes of a siren, ZAKA volunteers are often among the first to arrive at the scene.

The volunteers are a light in the darkest moments of chaos. Operating alongside security forces and medical services, often under the threat of secondary strikes, ZAKA units execute a critical dual mission: acting as lifesavers who conduct searches, rescue survivors, evacuate the wounded, and remaining at the scene long after the dust settles to perform Chesed Shel Emes and support families.

Readiness cannot wait for the sirens to sound. ZAKA stands prepared, while continuously expanding its capacity to handle multi-front scenarios. This is a massive undertaking: it means ensuring that thousands of volunteers are fully equipped and prepared to instantly respond to large-scale national emergencies, all while continuing to handle their intensive, daily routine work.

We are actively building equipment reserves, expanding capabilities with new assets, and staging assets across every district to prepare for extreme situations. But this immense level of national readiness comes at a staggering cost, and we need your support.

Your partnership directly enables ZAKA to deploy, maintain, and expand these critical emergency resources:

• Protective Gear: Helmets and vests to shield our volunteers from shrapnel, falling debris, and active threats as they operate in highly vulnerable impact zones.
• Life-Saving Kits: Trauma supplies, oxygen, defibrillators, and multi-casualty supplies that allow our rapid responders to stabilize the wounded in the critical minutes before ambulances can safely arrive.
• Vehicles: Expanding and replacing our nationwide fleet of rapid-response motorcycles, ambulances, and all-terrain rescue vehicles, as well as funding the continuous fuel, mechanical maintenance, and specialized supplies required to keep them on the road.
• Rescue & Recovery Tools: Specialized search and clearing equipment, field stretchers, and the recovery supplies required to safely navigate disaster zones and perform Chesed Shel Emes.
• Field Support Equipment: Pop-up operational tents, equipment trailers, communication devices, heavy-duty lighting systems, and generators to sustain extended command operations in the field.
• Volunteer Healing & Resilience: Professional trauma therapy, mental health interventions, and ongoing resilience-building programs for the brave men and women who absorb the unimaginable toll of human tragedy on behalf of the nation.
